Lunch club is available to children once they are 3 years old, it is held at Marsden Nursery and Infant School between 11.30 and 12.45 Monday to Friday
WHO CAN COME TO LUNCH CLUB?
All children are eligible to attend once they turn 3 (depending on availability) but due to popular demand lunch club sessions are generally limited to 3 per child each week; once the term has started it may be possible to increase this should any spaces be still available.
Lunch club runs Monday to Friday 11.30 – 12.45 during term time.
WHAT WE OFFER
A safe environment for children to enjoy their lunch surrounded by their friends and a chance for them to relax and chat amongst themselves. Lunch club also acts as an introduction to the school itself, showing them the environment, the teachers and the other children ahead of their move in to infant school.
LUNCH IS NOT PROVIDED CHILDREN ARE REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR OWN PACKED LUNCH
Once the children have finished their lunch a variety of activities are set out for the children to enjoy; Balls and hoops to play with, streamers and music to dance to, balancing apparatus and set aside for quieter moments; book, jigsaws and drawing equipment.
Lunch club is £4.50 per session
If your child is accessing the full 5 sessions on the 3 year funding via Playgroup or the Nursery School you are entitled to 1 free lunch club per week to ‘top up’ to 15 hours.
